Fitting and use

The racking cloth is designed to be stapled to the wooden frame beneath the table top. On many English pool tables, the top is secured with clips and can be lifted to access the frame once the ball shoot and clips have been removed.

Lay the racking cloth across the bed when setting up the balls, then draw it clear before play. Table designs differ, so check how yours is assembled before attempting to fit it. If you're unsure, ask someone familiar with your table.
