Returns & Refunds Policy
Your legal rights (UK consumers)
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods and return them within a further 14 days for a refund.
For faulty, damaged, or misdescribed items, you also have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including a right to reject within 30 days.
Our 30-day returns policy
We offer a 30-day return window from the date you receive your order for items you no longer want.
To be eligible for a return:

The item must be unused, unworn, undamaged, and in its original packaging.

Any tags must still be attached.

You must provide proof of purchase.
How to request a return
Email us at jamie@chalkytrousers.co.uk with your order number and reason for return. We will confirm whether your return is accepted and provide return instructions.
We do not publish our return address on this page. If your return is approved, we will provide the return address by email.
Items sent back without prior authorisation will not be accepted.
Return shipping
You are responsible for arranging and paying for return delivery unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect.
You must obtain and retain proof of postage when returning your item. We are not responsible for returns lost in transit without proof of postage.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you if your refund is approved.
If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order on receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect so we can resolve it.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
The following items cannot be returned unless faulty:

Sealed personal care products once opened

Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases

Sale items and gift cards

Exchanges
To exchange an item, return the original item and place a new order separately.
