Crafted Cues Cue Cleaner & Conditioner - 30ml
Cue cleaner and conditioner for pool and snooker cue shafts
Crafted Cues Cue Cleaner & Conditioner is designed to remove the chalk dust, hand oils, sweat and general grime that can build up on a cue through regular play.
That build-up can leave a cue shaft feeling sticky, dull or inconsistent through the bridge hand. Cleaning the shaft properly helps restore a cleaner, smoother surface without relying on aggressive sanding or abrasive treatment.
The fast-drying, non-abrasive formula is suitable for ash, maple and carbon fibre shafts, as well as lacquered cue butts, making it a useful starting point for regular pool and snooker cue maintenance.

- Allow the shaft to dry fully before moving on to the next stage of your cue care routine.
- For ash shafts requiring deeper maintenance, follow with grain filler before applying cue oil or your preferred finishing product.
Why clean your cue shaft?
Every time you play, chalk dust, oils from your hands and general dirt can transfer onto the cue shaft. Over time, this can change how the cue feels through the bridge hand and leave the surface looking dull or dirty.
A dedicated cue cleaner gives you a more controlled way to remove that build-up as part of regular cue maintenance, helping keep the shaft feeling clean and consistent.
It is also a useful first step before deeper cue care. Starting with a properly cleaned shaft gives you a clean base before using products such as grain filler or cue oil.
Building a complete cue care routine
For deeper maintenance of an ash cue, start by cleaning the shaft thoroughly. Grain filler can then be used where required to help smooth the open grain, followed by cue oil to nourish and condition the wood. Not every cue will need every stage each time, so use the products appropriate to the condition of your shaft.
